Yes, I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates. Due to my insurance policy, no one else can be in the home during my care, including family members, contractors, or other visitors. This includes people like your brother, aunt, or kids, as it voids my insurance. For my safety, I may have a driver accompany me on some drop-in visits, especially at night. However, the driver will not enter your home and has no access to your personal information, including how I enter your home. I have one employee covered by my insurance who may only enter in an emergency (e.g., animal attack, broken bone, or life-threatening situation).
Pet sitting offers a better experience for pets compared to boarding facilities by allowing them to stay in their familiar home environment. This helps reduce stress and anxiety, especially for pets who are unsettled by new places or routines. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, such as feeding schedules, medication, and playtime. Unlike boarding facilities, where pets are often housed with multiple animals and may experience overcrowding or stress, pet sitting ensures one-on-one attention. This reduces the risk of illness since pets aren’t exposed to other animals. Additionally, there’s no transportation stress, which is especially helpful for pets that don’t handle travel well. Pet sitting also offers greater flexibility, with services customized to fit each pet's schedule, unlike boarding facilities with fixed drop-off and pick-up times. You’ll also receive regular updates, keeping you connected to your pet and offering peace of mind while you're away.
My office hours are from 10 am to 3 pm, which allows me to care for pets in the morning and evening without interruptions. Please allow up to 48 hours to respond to any email, text, or booking request. During holidays, response times may take longer. If you don’t hear from me in 48 hours, contact me at 210-870-4865. When emailing through my website, please double-check that your email address and phone number are entered correctly. Also, include the dates of service, type of service, number of animals, and your location.
Overnight Boarding: I can accommodate one family (up to 3 dogs from the same family).
Daycare: I can accept one family (up to 5 dogs, either from the same family or acquainted). In place of daycare, I offer daily walks. If you have multiple dogs, I can only guarantee walking one dog at a time. Separate bookings will be needed for each walk. If the dogs are well-trained and not reactive to people or other animals, I can accommodate up to 3 dogs in a single walk.
Drop-ins: Available for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour (hourly availability may vary).
Overnight care: 8 hours guaranteed, with morning and afternoon visits.
Extended care is available at an hourly rate, ensuring the agreed-upon hours.
Please note that arrival times may vary, especially during the holiday season. I do not allow pets to be left alone for more than 8 hours, but occasionally, exceptions can be made.
